Professional Makeup Courses

The Make Up For Ever Academy is home to one of Dublin’s longest established makeup schools. Our courses provide an introduction and an insight into the practical world of makeup for those wishing to embark on a career in the industry.

Former students have gone on to pursue successful careers with major cosmetic houses such as Lancôme, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Chanel and Revlon. Others have gone on to work as freelance makeup artists in the television, film and fashion industries.

TRAINING TO BE A PROFESSIONAL MAKE UP ARTIST
BEGINNERS TO INTERMEDIATE LEVEL €995
5 week evening course - 2 nights a week • 5 day full time course - Monday - Friday
This course is a real insight into the fashion and make up industry for those wishing to pursue a career as a professional make up artist. We offer two comprehensive courses, which will provide you with sufficient training to give you the opportunity to try out your skills and show your creative talent as you discover the world of the make up profession. It
should be stressed that both courses cover the same material and that it is entirely up to the student to decide which course you would prefer to take. Completing one of these courses is only the beginning, it is vital for you to develop your portfolio as this will showcase your make up ability to photographers and prospective employers.

3 DAY FULL TIME INTRODUCTION TO MAKE UP ARTISTRY €695
This course gives you a chance to gain a comprehensive understanding of what is involved in this field. It will develop confidence and give you a wealth of knowledge and experience to explore your potential. It provides invaluable insights into the latest looks and advice on how to get started as a make up artist. This course alone is not sufficient training for you to work as a make up professional but it will teach you highly useful, practical skills to give you an idea on whether this is career you want to take further.
